It wasn’t about perfection.
It was about showing up even when the week wasn’t ideal.
This week was packed with product creatives, website banners, video edits, and lots of ratio adjustments. From working on power banks and speakers to face serums, shower gels, perfumes, and body lotions, it was a mix of tech and beauty, minimal banners and bold product visuals.
I worked on:
• Creating and editing multiple product videos
• Changing video ratios in 4:5, 1:1, and 16:9 formats
• Designing minimal website banners
• Refining product colours to make them pop
• Handling revisions and small adjustments
• Editing around 7 videos during the week
A lot of resizing.
A lot of refining.
A lot of “just one more change.”
But alongside work, life was happening too.
Tuesday was a half day because I had to drop my brother for his board exams.
Thursday was a sick leave during my period week because I had to listen to my body.
Friday morning I had cramps, so I rested and resumed work later as a half day.
And honestly, I’m proud of how I handled it.
Because being professional doesn’t mean ignoring your health.
It means managing your time, energy, and responsibilities realistically.
💡 What I Learned This Week:
• A design completely changes when the ratio changes. Formatting is strategy.
• Minimal design is harder than it looks. Hierarchy is everything.
• Product creatives need proper colour correction to stand out.
• Editing isn’t just cutting clips. It’s maintaining brand consistency.
• Revisions are not criticism. They are collaboration.
👩🏻💻 What I Gave Back as a Designer:
• Cleaner layouts
• Better colour balance
• Refined product visuals
• Timely revisions despite a shorter week
• A calm and solution focused approach
Week 4 wasn’t flashy.
It was disciplined, adaptive, and real.
And sometimes, that’s exactly what growth looks like. 🚀✨
